8/28/11 - Emergency Trauma Care - When there is no time to lose
Someday you may find yourself in a life or death medical situation. You or a loved one may need IMMEDIATE help in dealing with a severe trauma wound or shut down of body functions. Perhaps 911 is too far away, perhaps they cannot be relied on at all. With this engaging skillshare we are fortunate to have one of our founding members - Barb , a critical care R.N. on hand to teach us some important basics for getting a grip on a bad situation.

Survive and Thrive Weekend Skillshares is tailored for those that have been to them in the past as well as for newcomers. We will cover a broad scope of basics in self reliant bush craft. Water, Shelter, Fire, Food, Medicine, Orienteering and Ropes & Knots will all be covered over Friday night 9/9/11, Saturday 9/10/11 and Sunday morning 9/11/11. Rain or shine, we will be ready for both.

Our friends in New York City, who've given an immeasurable amount of support to TFP, via FEDSTOCK and other events, are hosting LibertyFest II this September. Speakers, live music, vendors, and an overall day of fun.

9/23/11 - 9/25/11 - Agora I/O - The Liberty Unconference
Mark your calendars for “Laozi,” our second Agora I/O unconference, September 23-25, 2011. We’re expecting more than 100 speakers over at least 4 channels. If you loved the first one (and I know you did!) then this one is going to blow you away!

11/22/11 - END THE FED! National Rally for Sound Money Day (Philadelphia)
Save the date...Philly's never let you down when it comes to END THE FED rallies, so why start now? This time it's on a weekday to stand in solidarity with the rest of the nation. On 11/22/11, thousands will rally at every Federal Reserve Bank in the country, and we're happy to join. As always, this will be a peaceful outreach, and I personally guarantee it'll be the most fun you've ever had at an economics rally.
